Assistant Manager NOC

Role Summary

This role will involve monitoring network operations, planning and implementing network configurations, troubleshooting network issues, maintaining network security and managing a team of NOC executives with a focus on achieving target SLAs and operational goals. In this role the candidate will ensure process designing and continual improvement within the NOC including but not limited to automation of NOC tasks and reporting, implementation of enterprise-wide monitoring initiatives, and routine administration tasks, timely resolution of client issues and adherence to SLAs.

Duties And Responsibilities

  • The candidate will be mainly looking after Operations and Maintenance, Fault Management, Configuration Management, Network Audit and Performance Management of Digital & Messaging Solution domain with great Product knowledge.
  • Will be responsible for design and implementation of innovative services which will bring improvements in Technology and Development Framework
  • Effective stake holder management for internal and external stake holders to maintain progress tracking
  • Presenting KPIs, performance analysis and management reporting
  • Ensure compliance to existing SOPs and engineering new processes for continuous improvements

Job Specifications

  • Masters/Bachelor’s degree in B.E (Computer/Electrical/Electronics/Communication/Telecom) from accredited university
  • 5 to 7 years of proven experience in Messaging and VAS
  • Strong working knowledge and hands on experience on VAS Digital platforms with clear understanding of end to end call flows.
  • Trouble shooting skills with IP and Signalling Protocol analysis of SMPP, TCP/IP, SIP, REST, SOAP and APIs.
  • Development of Linux, Shell, kannel & DB tools / scripts for system and services monitoring, logging and automation of day to day tasks
  • Good communication and presentation skills to make ideas understandable for respective audience segments
  • Innovative thinking and solution orientation to craft solutions as per management expectations
  • Drive for results and continuously evolve with good analytical approach
  • Good team player with strong negotiations skills to manage stakeholders
